Reasonable Rent Contribution (RRC)
Definition
The Reasonable Rent Contribution is the rent an SDA resident pays towards their home, capped at the Maximum Reasonable Rent Contribution and paid on top of NDIS SDA funding.
This is the resident's own contribution to the cost of living in an SDA home. It is normal and expected, and it sits alongside the SDA payment the NDIS makes to the provider.
It does not cover everyday living costs like electricity and food, which the resident pays separately.
